Partner — Construction & Infrastructure
“A Chartered Building Professional with deep expertise in construction law — I understand how projects actually work, not just how they are documented.”
About Tamica
Tamica D'Uva is a Partner in Wellington Legal Advisors' Construction & Infrastructure team and a Chartered Building Professional — a distinction held by a small number of construction lawyers in Australia that reflects her deep understanding of how projects are actually built, not just how they are documented. Tamica acts for developers, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on medium to large-scale commercial and infrastructure projects throughout Australia, and her work spans the full project lifecycle: from the preparation of tender documents and the drafting and negotiation of construction contracts through to strategic claims advice, adjudication proceedings, and litigation in state and federal courts. She is known for her practical, commercially informed approach — she understands that a dispute resolved quickly and efficiently is almost always better than one that drags through the courts. Tamica is recognised by Doyle's Guide as a recommended Front End Construction & Infrastructure Lawyer (2022, 2024, 2025) and is a member of the Resolution Institute.
